Detectives are appealing for information as they continue to investigation the malicious damage of 10 vehicles and buildings in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs earlier this week under Strike Force Mylor.
About 12.30am Thursday 21 November 2024, emergency services responded to reports of a vehicle on fire in Wellington Street, Woollahra.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire.
The utility and a further nine vehicles parked along Wellington Street, Tara Street, Fullerton Street and Ocean Street were graffitied.
Another vehicle received minor damage as a result of the fire. The total estimated value of the damage is $70,000.
Three buildings were located on Ocean Street and Fullerton Street were also graffitied. At this time, the total estimated value of the damage is between $20,000 to $30,000.
There are no reports of injuries.
Detectives from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command established a crime scene, and an investigation has commenced under Strike Force Mylor.
As inquiries continue, police are hoping to speak to the driver of a white Holden Captiva that may have been in the area on the night of the incident.
Detectives are also continuing to appeal for information about two people believed to have been in the vicinity at the time.
They are described as of slim build, wearing face coverings, dark clothing, one wearing a hoodie with a Nike tick on the front.
