Police Hunt Leads in Nightcliff Robbery Case

Northern Territory Police Force are calling for information after an attempted armed robbery occurred in Nightcliff last night.

Around 7:45pm, police received a report that four unknown males, one armed with an edged weapon, attended a service station on Progress Drive. One of the group allegedly kicked an employee while making threats and demanding store items. The group then fled the scene on foot without taking any items.

While fleeing, the group allegedly stopped a 42-year-old man travelling on an electric scooter. They threatened him and attempted to steal his wallet but were unsuccessful and continued fleeing.

Strike Force Trident have since arrested three youths aged 14, 15 and 16, who remain in custody with charges expected to follow.
