Police Hunt Man Over Train Indecency Near Bondi Junction

Police are appealing for assistance from the public regarding an alleged sexual act on a train on the T4 train line earlier this month.

Officers attached to the Police Transport Command were told about 2.46pm on Sunday 12 January 2025, two 15-year-old girls were approached by a male in the top carriage of a train from Bondi Junction to Central.

The man allegedly performed a sexual act in the presence of the girls.

The man then alighted from the train at Central Railway Station.

Police have commenced an investigation into the incident.

As investigations continue, police have released an image of a man who might be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being of large build with olive skin, about 30 years of age, wearing black and white hat, basketball style jacket (open exposing his stomach), purple shorts.

Anyone recognising the man or who might have information which might assist police is asked to call Crime Stoppers in 1800 333 000.
