Police are appealing for information following two traffic crash incidents at Beaudesert and Jimboomba allegedly involving the same vehicle in late November.
It will be alleged that around 3:40pm on Thursday, November 28, a white Holden Rodeo utility was travelling along William Street before turning onto Brisbane Street and colliding with a temporary traffic barrier and fence.
It will be further alleged that the vehicle then travelled to Edelsten Road, Jimboomba, where it was involved in a traffic crash with a 2021 Kia Carnival.
The occupants of the Kia, a 38-year-old man, a 6-year-old boy, and an 8-year-old boy sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the Holden, a 33-year-old Redbank Plains man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have seen the Holden Rodeo or may have information regarding its movements prior to and between the two crashes to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
