Police Hunt Tips in Alice Springs Assault Case

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an aggravated assault that occurred in Alice Springs early this morning.

Around 2:25am, police received reports that two males were involved in an argument on Todd Street, before one of the males allegedly struck the other in the head with a blunt weapon, rendering him unconscious.

The offender subsequently fled the scene in a Silver Sedan and drove towards the Sadadeen area.

Police and St. John Ambulance attended, and the victim was conveyed to the Alice Springs Hospital, in a stable condition, for treatment.

The offender remains outstanding.
