Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to multiple stolen motors vehicles and aggravated burglaries that occurred in Alice Springs overnight.
Around 4.10pm yesterday, police were notified of a white Toyota Hilux being stolen from a residence on Johannsen Street in Gillen by an unknown offender. The offender fled the scene in the vehicle.
Around 11.35pm, the occupant of a residence on Woods Terrace in Braitling reported an unknown number of offenders had unlawfully entered his home and stolen personal items, including car keys. The victim's yellow and black Toyota C-HR was allegedly stolen by the offenders.
Around 3.05am this morning, a white Honda Civic was reported driving dangerously in the Alice Springs CBD. It was later confirmed it had been stolen during an alleged burglary at a residence on Latz Crescent, Larapinta earlier in the night.
All the three vehicles were sighted driving dangerously in Alice Springs throughout the night, with the offenders allegedly armed with edged weapons and throwing rocks from inside the vehicles at times. The offenders and stolen motor vehicles currently remain outstanding, and police are investigating if the three incidents are linked.
