Police have arrested five men and one woman at a residential address on Boronia Street, Boronia following an assault overnight which involved a man being threatened with a firearm, Victoria Police say.
Police and specialist police units attended the address at about 5am this morning with the situation resolved peacefully at about 10am.
Minor injuries were sustained by one man; no injuries were sustained by the other parties.
A search warrant has been executed at the address and a firearm has been recovered.
Knox Crime Scene Investigators are currently processing the scene and the six people will shortly be questioned by police.
Road closures have now been lifted.
