Police have arrested two men and a teenager following an alleged break and enter with violence incident earlier today, December 24.
It is alleged around 4.45am, three males arrived at an Arundel residence in a stolen vehicle armed with a firearm and a machete.
Money was obtained, and the males left the scene in the vehicle they arrived in plus an Audi SUV, which was stolen from the address. The Audi was later located at Gilston a short time later.
No one was physically injured in the incident.
A comprehensive search conducted by Gold Coast officers and specialist police units resulted in three males aged 36, 37 and 17 being located and arrested at a Worley Drive property at 10.50am.
Police are not looking for anyone else involved in this incident.
A crime scene has been established at the Worley Drive property and investigations are continuing.
