Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Edmonton 6 November

Police are investigating the armed robbery and theft of a vehicle in Edmonton last night.

Around 8.30pm, a 40-year-old Edmonton woman was walking towards her vehicle in a carpark on Louie Piccone Way when she was approached by a group of unknown people.

The group threatened the woman with scissors and assaulted her, demanding her keys.

The woman sustained non-life-threatening lacerations to her arm.

The group fled the scene in the stolen Mazda 6, which was later located in Yarrabah.

Three teenage girls have been taken into custody and are assisting with enquiries.

Investigations are continuing.
