Police investigate armed robbery at Parkwood 26 May

Gold Coast detectives are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a Parkwood pharmacy was robbed this evening (Thursday, May 26).

Around 7.10pm a man entered an Olsen Avenue business demanding medication, and showing staff what appeared to be a handgun tucked in the waistband of his trousers.

The man, who was wearing a surgical mask, dark hooded jumper and light coloured track pants, fled on foot after stealing a quantity of medication.

No one was physically harmed.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the robbery, or has relevant dashcam or business CCTV to contact them. Police would also like vision of adjacent Tonga Place from 7pm onwards.
