Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery in Coorparoo this morning.
Initial investigations indicate a group of people entered two vehicles at a property and gained access to the garage on Hipwood Street around 2.30am.
The occupant of the house, a 55-year-old man, disturbed the group.
One of the offenders made threats towards the occupant whilst armed with a knife, before the group fled the scene.
A short time later the same group trespassed at a property on Letchworth Road.
No one was injured and nothing was stolen.
Investigations are continuing.
