Police are appealing for public assistance following a car crash in Coburg this morning.
It is believed a silver Toyota Camry was travelling east along Murray Road when the driver lost control and crashed into a pole at the intersection of Outlook Road just before 4.30am.
The driver, a 21-year-old Parkville man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
His male passenger, who is yet to be formally identified was also taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are currently on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
