Police Investigate Car Fire

Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for assistance from the public as they continue to investigate a car fire which occurred in St Kilda last year.

Officers have been told a Nissan Elgrand was parked on Chapel Street when it was set alight about 12.25am on 17 October.

Detectives have made a number of enquires but have yet to make an arrest.

Police have released CCTV and images of a man that was seen in the area at the time of the incident and who may be able to assist investigators with their enquires.

He is described as approximately 180cm tall and with distinctive tattoos on his lower left leg and right calf.
