Homicide Squad detectives are investigating after a woman was found deceased in Cobram yesterday.
Emergency services were called to an address on Campbell Road about 2.15pm on Monday, 23 April.
The body of a 49-year-old Cobram woman was located inside the property.
A 39-year-old Cobram man was subsequently arrested and remains in custody.
The parties are believed to be known to each other.
Detectives are working to establish the exact circumstances around the death and the investigation remains ongoing.
