Police are investigating a fatal collision that occured in Invergordon last night that has left one person deceased.
Emergency services were called to Katamatite-Shepparton Road just after 7pm following reports that two cars had collided.
The male driver, a 67-year-old from Barooga, NSW, and sole occupant of one the vehicles, died at the scene.
The female driver of the other vehicle and her female passenger were taken to hospital in a serious but non-life-threatening condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
