Police Investigate Fatal Crash in Sebastopol

A man has died after a single - vehicle crash in the Riverina region.

About 2.30am today (Saturday 7 June 2025), emergency services were called to Coolamon Road, Sebastopol, about 15km south of Temora, after reports of a single-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District attended and found a vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

The driver of the car – a man aged in his 20's – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he could not be revived and died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

The passenger – an 18-year-old man – was not injured and taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital as a precaution.

A crime scene has been established as police commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
