Bridgewater Police is currently investigating a structure fire that occurred at a residence in Gagebrook during the early hours of this morning.
About 3:30am, police and fire crews were called to the Viola Crescent residence which was well alight. The sole occupant escaped the residence without injury.
Initial investigations have determined that the fire was deliberately lit and police suspect that this was a targeted attack.
Residents in the surrounding areas are being asked to review any available CCTV around the time of the incident.
