Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a man was attacked with a bottle in Melbourne's CBD in August.
Officers have been told a number of people were involved in a fight on Queen Street, near Little Collins Street, about 1.20 am on 14 August.
During the fight it is alleged a 29-year-old man from Doreen was hit with a bottle which caused lacerations to his neck and face.
He was located in William Street by police a short time later and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
