Police Investigate Glenroy Servo Armed Robbery

Fawkner Divisional Response Unit officers are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at a service station in Glenroy last month.

Officers have been told a white Toyota HiAce van pulled into the service station on Pasco Vale Road about 3.40am on 22 August.

A male exited the van, approached the doors and waited until they were opened by the attendant.

Once the doors were open three other males rushed from the van and all four made their way into the store armed with weapons.

They approached the attendant and forced him to open the till.

The offenders, who were all wearing black hooded jumpers, stole cash and cigarettes before leaving the store and driving off in the van.

Fortunately, the attendant was not seriously injured.

Investigators have released CCTV of three people who may be able to assist with their enquires.
