Transit Embona detectives are investigating a wilful and obscene exposure which occurred in Carlton last year.
Investigators have been told a 29-year-old woman was at a bus stop near the intersection of Nicholson and Elgin streets about 6.55am on 9 November 2024.
A man was on the other side of the road with his pants down and genitals exposed.
A bus arrived and the victim got on but was followed onto the bus by the man.
The victim exited the bus and reboarded in an attempt to get away from the man, but he followed her.
The bus driver was informed and the male then exited the bus and was last seen on Nicholson Street.
Investigators have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
