Police investigate Reservoir collision

Greensborough Highway Patrol officers are investigating a serious collision which occurred in Reservoir last week.

Police have been told a white Kia Sportage was headed along Gilbert Road about 11.30am on Tuesday 22 November.

The Kia crossed onto the wrong side of the road and clipped a turning vehicle, which cause the Kia to roll.

The Kia rolled over a pedestrian crossing before coming to a stop.

Fortunately the driver of the Kia, a 30-year-old man from Pascoe Vale, was not injured.

Investigators believe a number of people were in the area and witnessed the crash and are particularly keen to speak to a woman who was pushing a pram across the pedestrian crossing at the time of the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, with dashcam footage or further information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or log onto www.crimestoppersvic.com.auExternal Link.
