Ballarat Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released CCTV following a ram raid which occurred in Sebastopol on Sunday.
Investigators have been told a stolen black 2004 Ford Territory was reversed into the front of a liquor store on Albert Street about 3.25am on 14 May.
Two men from the vehicle then entered the store and used a laundry basked to steal a large quantity of liquor before fleeing in the Territory west on Beverin Street.
At the time of the burglary, the Ford was missing the bonnet and rear passenger door.
The vehicle also had smashed windows and wooden garden trellis affixed to the front passenger window.
Investigators believe the same vehicle was set-alight in Ross Creek during the early hours of yesterday morning.
Emergency services were called to Sebastopol-Smythesdale Road between Bells Road and Bowes Road about 2.20am on 17 May where the Territory was destroyed by fire.
Checks revealed the vehicle was stolen from Sutton Street, Delacombe on 21 April.
Investigations remain ongoing and detectives have released CCTV footage of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
