Police Investigate Seddon Supermarket Robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a supermarket in Seddon last night.

Officers were called to reports of two unknown males stealing items and making threats in a supermarket on Charles Street about 8.45pm.

It is believed that the pair forced an alcohol cabinet open and stole several bottles of spirits.

It was reported to police that one of the males threatened a shop keeper, revealing a knife in his waistband.

The two offenders fled the scene on foot and were last spotted running along Perry Street in Yarraville.

No one was injured.

Despite a thorough search of the area, with assistance from Air Wing and the K9 unit, the offenders were not located.

Both the males are described as being Caucasian in appearance, of slim build and aged in their late teens.

One of the males was wearing a white windcheater and grey trackpants. The second male wore a black hoodie, black puffer vest and dark coloured pants.

The investigation remains ongoing.
