Police are investigating two separate crashes in Sydney's Inner West overnight.
Just before 1am (Tuesday 28 July 2020), officers were called to Liverpool Road, near Culdees Road, Burwood, following reports of a crash between a Ford hatchback and a taxi.
The driver of the Ford, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition. She will also undergo mandatory testing.
The taxi driver, a 41-year-old man, was uninjured and returned a negative breath test.
About 1.20am the same day, officers were called to nearby Liverpool Street after a Mitsubishi Lancer crashed into a tree.
The driver, a 24-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and allegedly returned a positive result for a roadside breath test.
He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment and to undergo mandatory testing.
Officers from Burwood Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crashes.
