Police have charged six people in relation to a serious assault in Toowoomba's CBD in November last year.
It's alleged a 30-year-old man was attacked by the group near the intersection of Russell and Ruthven Streets at around 5am on November 24, 2025.
Police will allege that at the time of the offence one of the male offenders was armed with a metal bar which was used to strike the victim whilst he was on the ground.
The 30-year-old man suffered significant head injuries and was taken to Toowoomba Base Hospital for treatment.
Two men aged 22 and three men aged 20 have each been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm in company whilst armed, going armed to cause fear and affray.
All six were granted bail and are due to reappear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Friday, February 7.
