A man has been arrested after an assault at Taperoo early this morning.
Just after midnight on Saturday 10 August, emergency services were called to a Hotel on Victoria Road after reports a man had been punched, by male at the premises.
The victim, a 35-year-old man from Panorama was punched to the head. He was rushed to hospital where he has serious-life threatening injuries.
Detectives from Western District and Crime Scene Investigators have attended at the scene and are investigating the incident.
A 29-year-old man from Exeter has been arrested. He is expected to be charged later today and refused police bail.
