Police Investigate Serious Collision In Shepparton East

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a serious collision in Shepparton East last night.

Investigators have been told that an allegedly stolen Holden Cruze and a truck collided near the intersection of Hosie Road and Benalla-Shepparton Road on Monday, 23 September about 3.30pm.

The alleged driver of the Cruz, a 16-year-old girl, has been taken to hospital with injuries.

A 11-year-old boy who was a passenger in the car was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Another passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck, a woman in her 50s, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
