Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a collision which occurred in Shepparton last night, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services attended in Poplar Avenue following reports of a man struck by a vehicle near Yorkshire Crescent shortly before 11pm.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was located on the road with serious injuries and died at the scene.
A female driver stopped and assisted at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
