Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash on Sydney's Upper North Shore overnight.
About 10.15pm (Saturday 4 December 2021), emergency services were called to the intersection of Alexandria Parade and Romsey Street, Waitara, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Kuring-Gai Police Area Command attended and found a silver Ford Territory crashed into a tree.
The driver, a 43-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a head laceration before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for mandatory testing.
Five passengers suffered minor injuries.
Two boys – aged six and three - were taken to Westmead Children's Hospital for assessment, along with a 36-year-old woman.
A 29-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were taken to Hornsby Hospital for assessment.
Inquiries are continuing.
