An investigation is underway after a body was located in Fairfield yesterday.
About 9.45pm on Tuesday (20 August 2024), officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were called to a unit block on St Johns Road, Cabramatta, following a report of a concern for welfare.
Upon arrival, police located the body of a man.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews, including HAZMAT, also attended the scene.
