A man has died, and an investigation is underway following a crash at Bulahdelah earlier today.
About 8.30am (Tuesday 7 January 2025), emergency services were called to Wootton Way near the Pacific Highway, Bulahdelah, following reports of a crash.
At the scene, police located a trike motorcycle had crashed into a parked trailer on the shoulder of the road before igniting.
Firefighters extinguished the fire; however, the male rider of the trike died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries into the cause of the crash are underway.
Wootton Way is expected to remain closed for a number of hours while forensic officers examine the scene.
