An investigation is underway after a man presented at Canterbury Hospital last night suffering facial injuries and a gunshot wound to his leg.
About 11pm (Wednesday 25 September 2019), officers from Campsie Police Area Command were called to the hospital after the man sought treatment to his injuries.
Initial inquires have led officers to a shop on Belmore Road, Belmore, where a crime scene has been established.
A full investigation is now underway.
