Police Investigating After Man Stabbed At Blacktown

Police have commenced an investigation after an alleged stabbing in Blacktown overnight.

About 10.25pm yesterday (Saturday 13 October 2024), emergency services were called to David Lane, Blacktown, following reports of an assault.

A 38-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for stab wounds to his ribs and hip, and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Investigators believe the man had been stabbed during an altercation with three other males, who left prior to police arriving.
