Police Investigating After Man's Body Found At Auburn

An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in a park in Auburn this morning.

About 6.50am today (Saturday 24 August 2024) emergency services were called to a park on Rawson Street, Auburn, following reports a man was found unconscious.

Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command attended the scene and performed CPR on the man – who is believed to be aged in his 30s - but he could not be revived.

The man is yet to be formally identified.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
