Police Investigating After Man's Death At Ryde

An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found critically injured at a unit in Ryde yesterday.

Just after 5pm (Saturday 18 January 2025), emergency services were called to a unit on Curzon Street, Ryde, after reports of an assault.

Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command attended along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, who located and treated an unconscious man inside the unit.

The 48-year-old man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he was declared deceased. He is yet to be formally identified.

Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command established a crime scene and an investigation has commenced, with the assistance of the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

Investigations are ongoing.
