Three men are in custody following a disturbance in Glenorchy last night where it is believed a firearm was discharged.
Around 10.30pm police received reports of a firearm shot from a vehicle towards a person on Ballard Street.
Police arrived a short time later, however the alleged victim had left the scene.
Initial investigations indicate a person may have been injured before leaving the area on a scooter.
While the alleged victim has not been located, police believe the people involved in the matter are known to each other, and that this incident was targeted.
Investigators conducted a search in the Glenorchy area about 4am, and took three men into custody.
As part of the ongoing investigation police would like to speak to anyone with information about the potentially injured person, the incident, a white vehicle in the area at the time, or suspicious activity.
