Tasmania Police is investigating two fires at Ravenswood overnight.
Tasmania Fire Service was called to two bushfires in the area of Prossers Forest Road about 6pm.
Seven crews responded, including Ravenswood, Rocherlea, Launceston and Prospect as well as three aircrafts, and machinery.
There was no threat to the community and no assets were impacted.
The fire was contained overnight.
Tasmania Fire Service crews will remain in the area today to conduct backburning operations, and members of the community can expect to see more smoke as a result, however there is no cause for concern.
The matter is being investigated by Northern CIB.
