Police Investigating Shooting Incident At Rockhampton

Police are investigating following an unlawful wounding incident in Kawana last night, December 3.

Emergency services were called to an Alexandra Street property around 8.30pm following reports of shots fired.

Initial investigations indicate a 31-year-old man sustained a gunshot to the leg following a verbal argument with another man before fleeing the scene.

The 31-year-old man was transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
