Police Investigating Wounding At Robina 15 July

Police are investigating after a teenager sustained a serious wound at Robina.

Around 11.05am police were called to a residence after reports a 15-year-old boy had been stabbed.

Emergency services provided treatment to the boy on scene before he was transported to hospital where he is undergoing surgery.

Another 15-year-old boy has been taken into custody and is assisting police with their investigation.

Early investigations indicate the boys are known to each other.

A crime scene has been declared.
