Kingston CIB are investigating a wounding incident that occurred at a private residence in the Tinderbox Road area around 7.20am on Thursday 9 June.
Police became aware of the incident when a man presented to hospital this morning with a non-life-threatening injury to his leg.
Police believe the incident was targeted and it was not a random act.
Police are seeking information from members of the public who observed any suspicious activity or who may have dash cam or other CCTV footage in the Brightwater / Tinderbox Road area or surrounding streets on the morning of 9 June.
