Police are investigating reports of multiple vehicles being entered and property being stolen on the Old Bass Highway at Wynyard.
Between around 10pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday, multiple unlocked vehicles were unlawfully entered at three separate addresses on the Old Bass Highway, between Gordon Street and Bluewater Crescent.
Items of property stolen from the vehicles include cash, a laptop computer and fishing reels and rods.
Police are seeking information from members of the public who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area.
This is a timely reminder for members of the public to ensure their vehicles are locked when not in use, to avoid becoming an easy target.
