Police Launch Jindalee Search and Rescue Operation

A search and rescue operation is continuing today to locate a 23-year-old man reported missing from Jindalee Boat Ramp on March 16.

Emergency services were called just before 5.40am yesterday morning, following reports a 23-year-old man had fallen into the water and failed to resurface.

This morning's search is focusing on the river and shoreline upstream from Seventeen Mile Rocks.

Search assets include general duties officers conducting foot patrols, Water Police, Polair and SES.

Any witnesses or anyone with information that may assist is urged to contact police.
