Police have located the body of a man following an extensive search and rescue operation around the Jindalee Boat Ramp.
Shortly before 5.40am on Sunday March 16, a 23-year-old man was reported missing after he fell into the water and failed to resurface.
A search and rescue operation was launched, involving Water Police, Dive Squad, general duties police, SES, Marine Rescue, aerial assets, and partner agencies.
The body was located downstream, within the search area, around 8.30am this morning, March 18.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
