A man and woman have been charged following investigations into a number of alleged property crime incidents at Glenwood and Yatala last week.
At approximately 12.20am on February 21, it will be alleged the 42-year-old man and 22-year-old woman confronted a woman at a service station on the Bruce Highway at Glenwood before assaulting her and stealing a 2010 white Kia Cerato.
The 47-year-old woman sustained minor injuries during the alleged incident.
The Kia Cerato, has since been located abandoned in New South Wales.
On Wednesday February 26, it will be alleged the pair forced entry into a Pagan Road property at Yatala before stealing a 2021 white Isuzu MU-X, 2019 white Hyundai Tucson 2015 and Jayco Silverline Caravan.
It will further be alleged the pair stole personal items including jewellery and electrical equipment.
The pair were arrested by police at a service station on Bath Terrace in Gympie yesterday with a firearm located by officers.
The man has been charged with more than 20 offences including armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, stealing, serious assault, possessing dangerous drugs and fraud.
The woman has been charged with armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Both have been remanded in custody with the man expected to appear in the Gympie Magistrates Court on Monday, March 3.
The woman is expected to appear in the Gympie Magistrates Court on April 14.
Investigations are continuing in relation to possible weapons offences.
