Police Lay Armed Robbery Charges At Toowoomba 2 January

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy following an alleged armed robbery at a business in Toowoomba yesterday, January 1.

Around 6.20pm, it will be alleged the 16-year-old boy entered a Ruthven Street business armed with a knife and threatened an employee.

The boy fled the scene on foot with items from the business.

Police located the boy a short time later on Station Street, where he was arrested.

He has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear before Ipswich Childrens Court today, January 2.
