Detectives have charged a man following a unit fire in Berserker overnight.
Around 10.15pm on Sunday April 17, emergency services were called to a unit ablaze on Elphinstone Street.
One of the units in the complex was significantly damaged by the fire and several neighbouring units were damaged by smoke.
A police dog unit tracked a man to nearby Rigarlsford Park around 11.30pm.
Detectives later charged the 30-year-old Rockhampton man with one count of arson (domestic violence) and four counts of wilful damage.
He will appear via video link in the Mackay Magistrates Court today, April 19.
