Detectives have charged a man after he allegedly stabbed another man in Goodna on Saturday, August 3.
It will be alleged at 10.20pm an altercation occurred between two men on Caldwell Street.
During the altercation, a 42-year-old One Mile man received stab wounds to the neck and leg.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 46-year-old Goodna man was located at the scene by police and has been charged with one count of acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable.
He is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow, August 5.
It is alleged men are known to each other.
Investigations are ongoing.
