A driver who had just dropped her two children to school has been charged after allegedly returning a breath test reading more than six times the limit at Dee Why.
A member of the public called Northern Beaches Police Area Command about 9am yesterday (Friday 8 March 2019), reporting a Citroen Ds4 was being driven erratically along the Wakehurst Parkway at Oxford Falls.
Police stopped the 44-year-old female driver in Quirk Street, Dee Why, and when she returned a positive roadside breath test she was arrested and taken to Dee Why Police Station, where she returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.314.
Police have been told that the woman had just dropped her two children at school.
The woman, from Dee Why, has been issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for high-range PCA and confiscated her licence and car keys.
She is due to appear in Manly Local Court Wednesday 17 April 2019.
A notification has been made to Family and Community Services (FACS).
