Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Winchelsea on Saturday.
It is alleged a white Volkswagen Passat collided with a green Toyota Avalon on Winchelsea-Deans Marsh Road just after 10pm on 9 March.
The driver of the Toyota, a 55-year-old woman from Deans Marsh, died at the scene.
Her passenger, a 25-year-old woman also from Deans Marsh, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 31-year-old Mount Duneed man, has been charged with culpable driving, dangerous driving causing death, and dangerous driving causing serious injury.
He has been remanded to appear before Geelong Magistrates' Court on 12 March.
