Major Collision Investigation Unit Detectives have charged a woman following a fatal collision in Shepparton East last month.
It is alleged a silver Toyota Landcruiser, a black Ford Territory and a White Toyota Landcruiser collided at the intersection of Old Dookie Road and Boundary Road about 2pm on 20 October.
The driver of the silver Toyota, a 26-year-old Shepparton woman, was seriously injured and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Her passenger, a five-year-old girl died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 32-year-old pregnant woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries where her unborn baby later died.
The driver of the white Toyota, a 33-year-old Shepparton man, and his passenger a 22-year-old Katandra West man were taken to hospital for observation.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have today charged a 26-year-old Shepparton woman with multiple offences including dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing serious injury.
She has been bailed to appear at Shepparton Magistrates' Court at a later date.
